Hi there! My name is Charron "CJ" Matthews. I am a user experience practitioner who is passionate about helping people and making a positive impact on the world. I have a strong background in education, which has provided me with a solid foundation for my most recent role as a Senior Product Designer at NerdWallet. In this position, my primary focus was creating tools for consumers to discover and compare financial products.

Today, I am a Lead Product Designer at Trencher, a design consultancy with expertise in crafting digital experiences for enterprise and consumer-facing products. I possess a growth mindset and have gained valuable experience in coaching, design thinking, and digital information design.

During my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, playing sports such as basketball and golf, and expanding my knowledge base. I am particularly interested in learning about business, user experience design, product development, and leading and coaching small teams. These self-directed learning experiences have made me a resilient individual and a valuable contributor to our team’s initiatives.
