Exporting properties (Q2/2020)
HubSpot is a tech company offering marketing, customer service, sales, and CRM software. As a member of the CRM design team, I worked on a combination of end-to-end experiences as well as enhancing the existing experience. My team was called CRM Setup, and we focused on imports, object and property settings, as well as exports. We learned that CRM administrators were asking for a way to export their property data to do quality assurance. The hypothesis was that by addressing this need via Settings, we could enhance discovery and customer satisfaction.
The export feature helps admins export all properties, but we recognize that some users may want to export specific properties as well. By making it easy for admins to find and use the export option in property settings, we help them understand what the export will include and how it can support their goals.
I led design exploration and partnered closely with the lead product manager and engineer in Q2 of 2020. The experience was launched during that time. If you fancy low-fi design and archives, I have included images below.
